About the Glass Window

The heated glass window has a solar tint and is DOT approved. The electrical connectors attach to your existing rear window defroster wiring harness. The convertible top window bonding system provides an exceptionally clean look and extremely secure bond guaranteed to never fail, leak or separate.

About the Material

Manufactured using premium Haartz Twillfast RPC canvas, a superior quality topping with dobby backing. The topping material is an acoustically enhanced three-ply composite made of acrylic twill weave outer fabric, a rubber inner layer, and a polyester lining fabric. It provides up to 2dB (a noticeable) reduction in noise levels.

4 of 5 Good material, not quite the right size December 30, 2021

This was a nice replacement top for my TT. The materials are all nice, both fabric and plastic edges. Some of the stitches could have been doubled to withstand the struggle of installation. The only complaint is that the cut length along the base bow was short by about 1" total, 1/2" on each side. This means the B-pillar frame is partially exposed at the beltline and the gutter drain will get extra work in a rainstorm.

Included instructions were pretty good, but mostly directional. A smart mechanic will know to do some of the steps in a different order.

The top is great quality and a much better price than all the companies locally offered.  The company that I used to install it is now also going to use Autotopsdirect because they were amazed at the quality and how the rear window was bonded.  They said that it was the best fitting top they had ever put on.  Obviously, I am very pleased

I like the look of the top. It is the same quality as the original. The rain just forms little bubbles on top (no leaks). It is quiet. It fits perfect. The shipping was faster than I expected. I have absolutely no complaints.
