This convertible top is designed just like the original for the 1961-1971 Jaguar E-Type XKE Roadster.

The Haartz Stayfast Canvas is a great looking alternative to the original vinyl for the XKE Roadster. Stayfast is a three-ply composite with a softer, less shiny exterior look than vinyl. Like the Everflex, the Stayfast convertible top is very durable and long lasting.

This Jaguar convertible top includes a new sewn-in, non-zippered plastic window. The deck seams have been di-electrically heat-sealed for added durability to add to the life of the top.

Includes a new tinted DOT approved plastic window that is sewn-in for added durability. It is non-zippered.

TOPPING MATERIAL

Manufactured using premium Haartz Stayfast Canvas. Stayfast is a three layer composite that has a good look, less sheen and is extremely long-lasting.

HAARTZ STAYFAST CANVAS is a three-ply composite made of 100% acrylic square weave outer fabric, a butyl rubber inner layer and a 100% cotton drill lining fabric. Excellent Wrinkle Resistance, superior U.V. resistance, superior resistance to forces of nature, excellent durability and it holds up well to low temperatures. It is very flexible. It has been pre-shrunk and UV coated.

PLASTIC WINDOWS are manufactured from press polished sheets of thermoplastic vinyl material with a highly polished finish to form a flexible, press polished sheet. Meets or exceeds the material requirements of the Department of Transportation (DOT) and the American National Standards (ANSI) Code for safety glazing materials for motor vehicles operating on land and highways (Z26.1), including luminous transmittance (Test #2), chemical resistance (Test #19, 20), flammability (Test #23) and weathering (Test #16). Additionally, Regalite and Ultralite BUV sheets meet MIL-Spec P-18080A (ships), United States FMVSS 205 and Canadian CMVSS 205. We also meet ECE performance requirements for the EU market.
