Jaguar XKE Convertible Top

Fits the 1971 thru 1974 Jaguar Series 3 XKE V12

The Jaguar XKE V12 convertible top is available in both the original British Everflex Vinyl and the American Stayfast Canvas from Haartz.

British Everflex is a supple vinyl with a rich appearance and although similar to modern vinyls, everflex is more durable. Stayfast is a three-ply composite canvas material made of an acrylic square weave outer fabric, a rubber inner layer, and a cotton lining.

These Jaguar convertible tops include a new sewn-in, non-zippered plastic window. The deck seams on the convertible tops are heat-sealed for added durability. The tops are stitched with matching colors using the finest polyester threads.

NOTE that for Stayfast tops please specify black or tan backing when ordering.

The Jaguar Series 3 XKE V12 Convertible

Originally debuted in 1961, the Jaguar E-Type XKE was an extremely successful series, with more than 70,000 E-Types sold over the life of this very special Jaguar series.

The first series of this classic spanned the years 1961-1967. In 1968, Jaguar released its second series of the E-Type XKE and it continued in production through 1971.

The third series is a V12 and was in production for 1971 through 1974. The Jaguar E-Type XKE is arguably one of the most stunning and uniquely designed automobiles ever created. In the nearly 40 years since it was first debuted, it has retained its appeal and its value has steadily increased with good reason.
