This 1983-1994 Porsche convertible top is manufactured in the USA using the original patterns and specifications to the original vehicle. It is a two-piece factory original style top with zippered plastic window.

About the Plastic Window

Includes a new plastic window. The window is sewn-in and a zipper is included so the entire window section can be lowered while the convertible top remains up. The window is DOT rated and a heavy gauge press polish clear plastic for superior visibility.

About the Haartz Stayfast Fabric

Stayfast is a three-ply composite made of an acrylic square weave outer fabric, a rubber inner layer, and a cotton inner lining. Stayfast is a heavy-duty cloth sport topping that is guaranteed fade-proof and streak-proof, that is color-fast, and will have little to no shrinkage. Although this is a good material there are differences between it and the original German canvas that you should be aware of before purchasing. The outer fabric has a square weave instead of the twill weave like the original German fabric so it has a slightly different look that is more noticeable in the lighter colors. The inside is a plain cotton, without the dobby weave.
