This BMW 3 series convertible top is manufactured in the USA from factory original German imported Haartz Sonnenland.

About the Window

Includes a new slightly tinted plastic window. The window is sewn into the convertible top for strength and durability. It has been double stitched and includes finishing trim piping on the exterior.

About the Material

Manufactured using premium German Sonnenland Classic cloth/canvas. German Sonnenland is a three-ply composite made of an acrylic twill weave outer fabric, a rubber inner layer and a polyester lining fabric.

You may reuse your existing tension straps, however we recommend you purchase replacement straps whenever you replace your top. Tension straps lose their elasticity over time and the front or rear loops may break. Failure may cause damage to your convertible top and void your warranty.   • Deck seams are heat-sealed as original without tape

  • Metal spring coils are sewn into a pocket around the window for a factory finished fit

Recently received the replacement top for my 1990 BMW E30.  Top looks great…can’t tell any difference from OEM.  Haven’t installed yet to comment on fit, but quality of materials, craftsmanship and price are all exceptional. Will update review once installed.

This top FAR exceeded any expectations I had.  The stitching is so straight and so consistent, I literally thought it was sewn by a robot (which was later denied by the folks at Sierra..).  Shipping was same day I placed the order.

As the title says, you simply get what you pay for.  This top's fit was laser precise, and i coudln't be happier with the end result.  

To improve:
The tension straps I bought,  consider marking them as drivers/passenger, as it's not readily apparent that they are sided.

I would improve removing the protecting paper from the corner areas between the window and the piping. There are bits left over and can be unsightly (then again it's paper, so it dissolves with time).
A written warranty should be included with the order for records.  Then again this top isn't going anywhere.

Thank you for your fast service and incredible product.  My GF has the exact same car and as soon as she got it, she got the exact same top.  Just as good as mine!
