Fits the 1994-1999 318i, 320i, 323i, 325i, 328i and M3
1994-1999 BMW 3 series convertible tops are manufactured in the USA using the original patterns and specifications to the original vehicle. Our BMW Stayfast cloth is from the Haartz Corporation. It is a premium quality topping with a plain cotton inner lining.
ABOUT THE PLASTIC WINDOW
Includes a new slightly tinted plastic window. The window is sewn into the convertible top for strength and durability. It has been double stitched and includes finishing trim piping on the exterior.
ABOUT HAARTZ STAYFAST FABRIC
Manufactured using premium quality Haartz Stayfast cloth/canvas. Stayfast is a three ply composite made of a square weave outer fabric, a rubber inner layer and a plain cotton lining fabric. It has been UV treated to improve color fastness when exposed to the sun.
OPTIONAL TENSION STRAP
You may reuse your existing tension straps, however many professional installers recommend you purchase replacement straps whenever you replace your BMW E36 convertible top. Tension straps lose their elasticity over time and the front or rear loops may break. Failure may cause damage to your convertible top and void your warranty.

- DOT approved heavy .040 gauge sewn-in, tinted plastic window
- Factory-style rain guard sewn-in along length of convertible top to direct water flow
- Factory-style sewn-in plastic retainers pre-drilled for easy, accurate mounting
- Deck seams are heat-sealed using specialized tape to eliminate heat-seal press marks on exterior
- Windows are double stitched and include finish trim piping on the outside
- Front corners are reinforced with moisture resistance PVC for added durability
