Plastic Window Replacement Top

1997-2002 Porsche Boxster and Boxster S convertible tops are manufactured in the USA using the original patterns and specifications to the original vehicle. This item is manufactured from a Haartz TwillFast RPC acoustically enhanced fabric. The material is also referred to as Sonnendeck in the convertible top aftermarket, however usually this means TwillFast II, a good material but not rated as well with noise reduction. TwillFast RPC has an acrylic twill weave outer fabric, a rubber inner layer and a polyester lining fabric. It is an excellent lower cost substitute to German A5.

WINDOW

Includes a new green tinted plastic window. The original rear window is zippered utilizing a patented Porsche system. All aftermarket tops that we know of, including this one, is non-zippered.

FABRIC

Manufactured using premium US made (Sonnendeck) TwillFast RPC canvas. This raw material is an economical alternative to the German A5 with similar look and feel. The canvas is an acoustically enhanced three-ply composite made of acrylic twill weave outer fabric, a rubber inner layer and polyster lining fabric.
