This 2003-2008 BMW Z4 and M Roadster convertible top is manufactured in the USA from original patterns and specifications to the original vehicle. The material is Haartz Stayfast and it includes a new heated glass window. Also includes new weather seal.

BMW Z4 Convertible Tops

WINDOW

The heated glass window has a factory tint and is DOT approved. The electrical connectors attach to your existing rear window defroster wiring harness. The convertible top window bonding system provides an exceptionally clean look and extremely secure bond.

FABRIC

Manufactured using premium Haartz Stayfast canvas, which is mold and mildew resistance and has superior resistance to long term exposure to the sun. It's an three-ply composite made of acrylic square weave outer fabric, a rubber inner layer, and a cotton lining.

  • Precision cut with Gerber automated computer guided cutting equipment
  • The entire top is cut from the same bolt of cloth for consistent color & pattern
  • Stitched with matching colors using the finest bonded polyester threads
  • DOT approved heated glass window. Bond with top is better than heat-seal
  • Factory-style headliner attachment installed around window with pre-punched holes
  • Deck seams are heat-sealed from the inside as original using specialized equipment
  • Plastic, pre-punched retainer attachments are sewn-in for an easy installation
  • Replacement extruded rubber weather strip below rear window

This review specifically addresses the first half of the transaction. Purchased through on-line checkout Friday afternoon, shipped same day from California, arrived at my door on the following Monday having cleared customs at Fedex in Mississauga in the middle of the night Sunday/Monday.  Stunning- and the shipping cost was far cheaper than I imagined, too.  The top quality looks great - it's little darker than I expected but who knows the colour of the original  some 17 years prior to baking in the sun. I will do a review of the install process later on.  They provided me a good pdf of instructions and there's a ton of video on-line. For now, I'm doing the motor mod into the trunk through the parcel shelf.  Promises to be fun...

The color is almost spot on the feel of the canvas is pretty close to the original, the fit was good but the road noise was not the same, the replacement top allowed more road noise to go threw other than that I rate it four star's

This is a great product. I ordered this to replace the top on my mom's Z4. The directions were very useful. And the quality of the top is beautiful. All gaskets in glass are in superb shape. Installation required patients but the end result was beautiful.
