ORIGINAL GERMAN A5 CLOTH REUSE EXISTING GLASS WINDOW

This Mercedes 209 chassis convertible top is made as original using patterns and specifications to the original vehicle. This includes German A5 canvas from Haartz Germany, which is a premium quality topping with 100% polyester dobby weave lining fabric.

FABRIC

Manufactured in the U.S. using premium, first quality Haartz German A5 canvas. The canvas is a three-ply composite made of an acrylic twill weave outer layer, a rubber inner layer and a polyester dobby lining fabric. It is an acoustically enhanced material and original to the Mercedes-Benz CLK.

A Very Solid Top	March 29, 2022

My Mercedes had a tear form in the canvas top several months ago, and I had to have it fixed. The factory process for OEM tops only uses glue to seal the two sections where there's a split, which can lead to the top becoming separated right above the rear windshield. This is something that can happen to many of these cars due to age.

Well, this new top makes the car look brand new, feels just like the original, has a rich color, and it's even double stitched where my old top failed, something that I was pleasantly surprised to see. Very happy with my purchase, and the upholstery shop I took it to said that the installation was very easy.

Couldn't be happier with my purchase. Not to mention that AutoTopsDirect got it to me within days of me ordering it.

I ordered a new top for my car. It came within a week, I had it put on and it looks great! The quality of workmanship and fit is great! It looks like an original factory top. I am tickled to death with it!
