So pleased with the new top on my 11 year old 'New Beetle.'  Had to order the headliner as well. Now everything is installed, and the car looks brand new!

We purchased a top for our 2006 VW Beetle that we had a difficult time finding at a reasonable price. Only few vendors offered the German A5 fabric in the light cream, or beige color; Auto tops Direct did - and at a competitive price.  My wife and I spent all day changing it out, but struggled with the instructions available from Autotops Direct, or even online. The quality of the top is awesome; but the instructions are inadequate.

4 of 5 Top-great; rear Window defrost wiring not so great September 23, 2017

The top was a perfect fit.  We love it.

Two negatives.  The instructions were pretty weak.  Easy to get the old one off, not so easy to get the new one back on.  I took my own photos as I was disassembling, but I still had challenges getting the new one on correctly.  Would have helped to have better instructions.  And the instructions weren't totally correct for my vehicle (2008 VW Beetle convertible).  

The bigger negative ... the wiring for the rear window defrost is not the same as the original equipment.  To make it work, I had to cut a slit on both sides of the liner to route the wire through.  A bummer.
